Four-Point Star Rosette Pattern
Hundreds of four-point sparkle stars packed into a circular rosette by a Fibonacci (phyllotaxis) layout, growing from tiny center stars to bold rim stars.
About this pattern
This preset uses the Fibonacci (phyllotaxis) layout — the same 137.5° golden-angle spiral that arranges sunflower seeds — to pack four-point stars into a perfect circle with no rows, no columns, and no visible repeats. Every star sits in its own cell of the spiral, which is why the packing looks organic yet never clumps.
A radial size gradient runs opposite to the density: stars start as pinpricks near the center and grow toward the rim. Combined with the spiral layout this produces the characteristic interlocking texture where the black background between stars forms its own secondary pattern of curved diamonds.
Circular layouts are the natural fit for round hardware — speaker grilles, fan guards, clock faces, downlight trims. Because the boundary is parametric you can also switch the same star field into a square or a custom outline and let the spiral fill it edge to edge.
